Online  Wednesday Nights: Click HERE  or at the bottom of the page for a  zoom link; the  passcode: gratitude.

On Wednesday night we meet for one period of meditation (called "zazen" in Japanese) followed by tea, a dharma talk with our founding teacher, Roshi Daniel Terragnao, and close the evening with chanting sutras.

We welcome people new to practice and those who are looking to deepen their existing practice.

GENJO KOAN

“To study the buddha way is to study the self.

To study the self is to forget the self.

To forget the self is to be actualized by myriad things.

When actualized by myriad things, your body and mind as well as the bodies and minds of others drop away.

No trace of realization remains, and this no-trace continues endlessly.”

by Eihei Dogen

We are a community practice home where the wish to wake up becomes lived and embodied.
Through regular gatherings, shared sitting, tea, chanting, and study, we support one another in practice and in life.

We welcome those new to Zen practice as well as those seeking to deepen an existing path.

Donations and Membership

Called "dana" from the Sanskrit word, your money pays for our tea and rent. It's nothing special; it does make this available.
